In 2012, the Heartland Hoedowners made a return trip to NYC to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  The girls did a spectacular job performing as Elves on the Office Max "Elves Raise the Roof" float.  Being in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was a dream come true for most of the girls who dance with the Heartland Hoedowners.  Many of these girls took their first trip to NYC to participate in the parade.
